  • For Dance Lessons For Children of All Ages Call Kilburn School of Dance

The latest news from Kilburn School of Dance

  • 2016; A fantastic year with 16 dances chosen to perform in Dance World Cup, out of these we gained four Gold Medals, five Silvers and Three Bronze - a huge achievement for our first every entries.
  • Megan Ferguson was runner up at the Janet Cram Awards in the Premiere Section.
  • Amelia Hawksby and Lili Skye Howe were awarded Special Commendations and Francesca Allen won the Personality Award. Abigail Huitson also reached finals status.
  • All competition results have been fantastic resulting in huge qualifications for All England in 2017.
  • The School also have a group selected as the 'Wild Card ' for the Dance Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and gained the most votes to dance there in October.
  • 2015 52 Dances reached the All England Finals which was a fantastic achievement, 16 were medal winners and Lili Howe and Ptolemy Gidney were selected to dance at the prestigious Gala with their ballet duet.
  • 2015 At the Janet Cram Awards Amelia Hawksby 13, Karishma Young 13 and Lili Howe 8 reached the finals. Amelia was awarded a Special Commendation.
  • At the Ruby Ginner Classical Greek Awards we had four first place winners, two second place winners and two Musicality Awards other awards were Joy of Dance and Most Expressive Dancer.
  • Kilburn School has entered the Dance World Cup for the first time and managed to have 16 dances selected for the finals to be held in Jersey this year. A huge achievement and first for the school - now onto fund raising to get there.
  • Dance prom 2014
    Once again pupils performed at the Dance Promwith a traditional Moldovan National group.
    Another fantastic opportunity.
  • Sophie O'Brien is now attending London Studio Centre and Harriet Quinn Italia Conti's teaching course.
  • The School gained over 50 Trophies at local competitions in the Spring Term
  • Janet Cram Finalist 2014; Karishma Young & Amelia Hawksby
  • Eve Leslie Carter aged 11 has been accepted for Elmhurst School to start in September.
  • Ptolemy Gidney aged 8 has been accepted as a Junior Associate for the Royal Ballet School. Amelia Hawksby continues as a Mid Associate.
  • Dance Prom 2013
    18 pupils danced at The Royal Albert Hall in November at the Dance Prom 2013, We were selected from hundreds of online entries to be not one but two groups that would dance. Only 26 groups in total were chosen so this was a huge achievement. It was exciting for all involved to be part of this fantastic event.
    Patrons for this include Darcy Bussell, Matt Flint, Bonnie Langford, Len Goodman & Wayne Sleep.
